SOLD

Previous owner and registry members Paul White HURST SC/Rambler was for sale on ebay with a very low reserve! and a bonus, rare AMC factory X-Ram intake manifold.

The owner Paul White has $ 20,000 currently invested in this Scrambler. Paul is seeking a Scrambler in better condition for his needs. The reserve for the ebay auction in place is set low and is to protect only a portion of his investment.

This is a real 1969 AMC SC/Scrambler. The car is complete, including all body parts, hood scoop, rebuilt and balanced 390 motor, correct transmission, correct wheels, glass, re-foamed seats covered in black vinyl, RWB head rests, steering wheel, etc. Headliner is missing. Car has only 1 mirror.

Vin Number: A9M097X293183

The Door Trim Tag: Body – 059057, Model – 6909-7, Trim 941-D
Paint – Special, E097673

Body: The car was originally an A theme. It has been media blasted and epoxy coated. The hood, front fenders, and engine compartment are in excellent condition. Trunk lid and trunk floor have a small amount of rust. Some of the floor areas and rear quarters need to be replaced. Roof on the driver’s side has some damage. Areas of the frame are dented. See pictures for detail.

Engine: A completely rebuilt and balanced 1968 AMC 390 engine is included. The engine is bored .40 over. It includes the following new parts; Doug Herbert cam, Keith Black Hyperautic pistons, valves, valve guides, valve springs, timing cover, Mallin oil pump, and freeze plugs. The heads have also been totally redone. Also included is an Edelbrock AMC Crossram manifold, Part number AM448 6228. This is a very rare part. Only a few hundred made. No carburetors.

Other Parts: New chrome bumpers, 2 sets of linkage for the Edelbrock manifold (one NOS), new C.A.T. water pump, extra dash and pad

Drive Train: The drive train is all there. New Clutch and fresh cut flywheel, new bell housing, new scatter shield, original Hurst shifter, reconditioned Hurst linkage, Transmission, part number T10P -1B, needs a new front shaft and bearings.

This is a restoration project for someone that has always wanted a rare and different muscle car. The car comes with a lot of parts that give you a good head start on the restoration.
