The Staging Process

This staging method bares no comparison by process or price to the typical automotive glass beading and or sand blasting services.

The EXTREME GLASS BEADING process of sealing is not accomplished by plating or a coating of any kind. The staging method uses multiple types of media during multiple blasting stages, all possible casting flaws and pitting are removed, surface is prepared for its application and a finishing profile. This is a time consuming process that results in

Most cast aluminum, especially brand new castings will accept profiling for surface sealing and or shot peening. Factory high profile finish's are designed to hide casting flaws and are not in any way easy to keep clean. The high profile is like a sponge for contaminates and as place for corrosion to start.

Extreme staging process will produce a stunning Bare Cast Aluminum finish with a very low profile that naturally repels, making fuel and oil leaks unbelievably easy to clean up! Oil leaks wipe up in seconds using only a kleenex or a baby wipe! " It will amaze you "BEAUTY THAT LASTS! If your looking for detail above and beyond your expectations, try this process once and you'll never look back! Making a good restoration choice ahead of time for your parts will help keep their good looks and value for resale when the need for more speed is upon you again.

Extreme Glass Beading - So what exactly is the staging process?

The process of staging in general refers to the multiple stages that a piece will go through from start to the desired finish, this process itself although can have as many as 20 stages, the process as a whole can be explained in 3 basic steps.

1 - CLEANING STAGES - First a good degreasing bath, damage repairs, masking machine surfaces and thread protection and other blasting preparations, then a good blast of uniform media matching the profiles surface for the cleaning stage is repeated until all contamination is removed.

2 - DETAILING STAGES - Casting flaw repairs, Hand detailing for show pieces, contour repairs and shot peening for sealing qualities. This stage is repeated over and over in multiple stages using numerous types of media to control the surface until the desired profile is achieved.

3 - FINISHING STAGES - A Final profiling media is chosen for the desired finish. The final media and the number of stages applied with it will have an effect on the final color, luster, reflection and sheen qualities of the parts.
* If no casting detailing is required, this stage can be done directly after stage 1, but will not produce the same desired finish.
